The St Leger, the world's oldest and the fifth and final classic of the British flat racing season, takes place every September on the famous Town Moor course. Doncaster is undoubtedly one of the finest courses in Europe.

One of the most complete surviving examples of a Victorian country house in England. The beautiful grounds, a collection of grand gardens in miniature, have been restored to their full Victorian splendour, and feature a colourful array of seasonal displays. With its new children’s play area, Brodsworth Hall is the ideal choice for a family day out in Doncaster.

Wentworth Castle Gardens & Stainborough Park extends to over 500 acres and includes historic gardens, a children's adventure playground and a fascinating collection of 26 listed buildings and monuments. Among the garden features are an azalea garden, rare formal wilderness, secret Victorian flower garden and Lime Avenue.
Cusworth Hall was built in the 1740s and is in a parkland setting on the outskirts of Cusworth village in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. The Hall is now the Museum of South Yorkshire Life and its collections depict life in the locality over the last 200 years. The Hall provides a beautiful backdrop to the lakeland landscape of a country park.
