Awarded an Enjoy England Breakfast Award in 2012!

We're very pleased to have been awarded an Enjoy England Breakfast Award. We've always tried to make sure our Yorkshire breakfast is delicious and exceeds expectations and have worked especially hard over the last few months to source a greater range of lovely local Yorkshire products. We're now one of just 200 hotels in the UK that have achieved this prestigious award.

Some of our products include hand-baked organic granola, Stamfrey Farm organic clotted cream yoghurt, fresh assorted seasonal fruits and berries, freshly baked muffins, pain au chocolat and croissants, Wensleydale smoked back bacon, hand-made Yorkshire pork and leek sausage, Doreen's Yorkshire black pudding and Bleikers oak smoked salmon. 

Awarded a Certificate of Excellence on Tripadvisor

Wentbridge House has been awarded a certificate of excellence by Tripadvisor for the quality of reviews left by our guests and visitors. Finalist in Welcome to Yorkshire small Hotel of the Year 2011

We're delighted to have been shortlisted as finalists in the Welcome to Yorkshire, White Rose Awards 2011. This is the third year in a row that we've made the final and we'll find out if we win on Monday, 11th October 2011. Fingers crossed for third time lucky!! 

Finalist in Welcome to Yorkshire small Hotel of the Year 2009 and 2010

Wentbridge House was a finalist in the Welcome to Yorkshire small Hotel of the Year competition in both 2009 and 2010. This puts us within the top 4 hotels in Yorkshire. Wentbridge House was also a finalist in the Yorkshire Life Hotel of the Year Awards in 2008.

2 AA Rosettes for Fine Dining

About 10% of Restaurants nationwide are of a standard that is worthy of one Rosette or above. We're delighted to have achieved 2 AA Rosettes in the Fleur de Lys Restaurant. The Restaurant is inspected by the AA to ensure we consistently maintain the high standards and quality that is expected at this level.

AA Notable Wine List Award

Wentbridge House consistently achieves the AA Notable Wine list award for its excellent wine list. All wine is bought with care and attention to detail from a range of the finest suppliers. This puts the list within the top 100 in the UK.

Awarded Four Stars by the AA

Following our addition of 24 beautiful new bedrooms in 2007 and the hotel's committment to excellence, in 2008, Wentbridge House was awarded 4 stars by the AA.

Silver Award from the English Tourism Council

Wentbridge House holds a Silver Award for quality from the English Tourism Council.

Working to reduce our impact on the environment

Wentbridge House has achieved a Bronze award from the Green Tourism for Business scheme. We continually try to reduce our impact on the environment and have a 'Green Team' that is always looking for ways to maintain and improve this.
