Wentbridge House focuses on delivering good food in a relaxed atmosphere which appeals to both our hotel guests and the local community. There's a choice of Restaurants depending on your mood – The elegant Fleur de Lys Restaurant, or the more contemporary Wentbridge Brasserie.

We're very proud of our excellent kitchen team who not only produce freshly prepared and innovative dishes, but have also achieved a Gold Hygiene Award from WMDC Environmental Health – The first hotel in the Wakefield district!

Fleur de Lys Restaurant

Our experienced and creative chefs preside over the award-winning Fleur de Lys Restaurant which attracts cosmopolitan lovers of food and wine. Emphasis is placed on using fresh, local produce and the best of British ingredients to produce a wide range of both classic and contemporary dishes. The wine list is one of the most extensive in West Yorkshire with over 200 bins, put together with thought, care and attention to detail. The Restaurant holds Two AA Rosettes and a Notable Wine List.

Dinner 7.30pm to 9.30pm Monday to Saturday
Lunch 12 noon to 2.30pm, Sunday only. The Restaurant is closed on Bank Holidays.

The Wentbridge Brasserie

The Wentbridge Brasserie & Bar offers more contemporary surroundings in which to enjoy morning coffee, lunch, afternoon tea or dinner overlooking the Wentbridge gardens. Many wines are available by the glass, service is less formal and the food modern British in style. Without doubt this is the most stylish eating place in the area.

The Brasserie has been awarded a ‘Gold Plate Award’ from the Hi-Life Diners Club. Hi-Life cards are welcome every evening in the Brasserie except Saturday.

Lunch 12 noon to 2.30pm Monday to Sunday
Dinner 5.30pm to 9.30pm Monday to Saturday and 7.00pm to 9.30pm Sunday and Bank Holidays

Wentbridge House is a perfect venue for private dining and entertaining whether on a grand or intimate scale.
