Wentbridge House offers a warm and welcoming setting for the simple pleasure of afternoon tea in West Yorkshire. With blooming gardens, light-filled rooms and the gentle awakening of the season, our Spring Garden Afternoon Tea is a lovely way to spend an unhurried afternoon in March, April and May.
Our Afternoon Tea menu reflects the season and sits alongside our Proper Yorkshire savoury afternoon tea and Children’s Afternoon Teas, which are available all year round.
Yorkshire Spring Garden Afternoon Tea – £29.95 per person
There is a selection of both sweet and savoury items, carefully prepared daily by our kitchen team. As well as the fluffy, freshly baked homemade scones, you’ll enjoy a selection afternoon tea sandwiches, irresistible cakes and sweet treats, Annabel’s strawberry jam and lemon curd and rich clotted cream. A selection of seasonal cakes and sweet treats completes this classic British tradition.
Afternoon tea is served with your choice of tea or coffee. We offer a carefully selected range of loose leaf teas from Taylors of Harrogate, allowing guests to enjoy a familiar favourite or discover something new.
Proper Yorkshire Afternoon Tea – £32.95 per person
Our Proper Yorkshire Afternoon Tea offers a savoury alternative to the traditional afternoon tea. Guests can enjoy a generous selection of cold cuts, sausage roll, cheeses with accompaniments, house pickles and chutneys, served with truffled parmesan fries and your choice of loose leaf tea or coffee.
Children’s Afternoon Tea – £14.95 per child (aged 12 years and under)
With families in mind, we offer a children’s afternoon tea served with an activity pack to keep little hands busy. Children may enjoy their afternoon tea with a seasonal mocktail, hot chocolate with marshmallows, or a babyccino.
Something Extra
Afternoon tea may also be enjoyed with a glass of chilled Prosecco, a hand-crafted cocktail, or a glass of Billecart-Salmon Champagne for those wishing to add an extra touch of indulgence.
Dietary Requirements
We are happy to cater for dietary requirements with prior notice. Please allow a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for dairy free, gluten free, vegan or other dietary needs, and do let us know of any allergies at the time of booking.
Service Times
Afternoon Tea is served Monday to Saturday from 2pm until 5pm and on Sunday from 3pm untill 5pm. These times are sometimes extended on special occasion days, please check when making your reservation.
