Bar Team Members – Full & Part-Time caret-down

Part-Time & Full-Time Hours Available* (8 to 40 hours per week).  Up to £12.25 per hour plus Tronc.

We are looking for professional, friendly & enthusiastic Bar Team Members to join our award-winning team.

Our teams are the key to our success. Ideally you will have worked in a bar or restaurant before, have a ‘can do attitude’ and a passion for delivering great drinks, cocktails and an excellent guest experience.

We are looking for part-time or full-time Bar Team Members who have the personality and commitment to thrive in this role and interact with our guests.

You should be available to work evenings & weekends as well as a variety of shifts, which can be scheduled around your commitments and lifestyle.

We are currently recruiting Waiting Staff to join our dedicated and passionate team at Wentbridge.

Our teams are the key to our success. Working closely with our kitchen team, your role will include serving fresh, seasonal food and drinks to our guests in a friendly and professional manner, while following our high standards of service & hospitality – ensuring our guests expectations are constantly exceeded and that they have everything they need.

You must be trustworthy, reliable and flexible, friendly with a ‘can-do’ attitude and able to work as part of a busy team in a fast-paced environment.

Previous experience in a similar environment is preferable but not essential as training will be provided.

Food & Beverage Supervisor – Full-Time caret-down

Full-time (45 hours per week) – £29,250 per annum plus benefits.

We have an exciting opportunity for a friendly, passionate, & enthusiastic experienced full-time Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our highly successful team at Wentbridge House Hotel.

Your main responsibility will be to host our guests in all food & beverage service areas and lead and develop a team. You will work closely with our kitchen team serving fresh, seasonal food and drinks in a professional, friendly manner and will be expected to demonstrate excellent attention to detail, organisation and communication skills. You will have the opportunity to learn, develop and have fun in a fast paced and dynamic restaurant, bar and events space.

You must be completely trustworthy, reliable, presentable, have high standards and a passion for food and drinks. This is a supervisory role and you will need to be flexible with the dates and times you are able to work.
Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant or bar environment is essential for this position.

Maintenance Team Member – Part-Time caret-down

Part-Time – up to 24 per week.  £13 per hour plus tronc (OTE £13.50-£13.75 per hour).

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Team Member to join our small and friendly team.

You will carry out a range of jobs at Wentbridge House Hotel and other properties, often under your own supervision, so you must be an organised and meticulous worker, energetic, enthusiastic and self-motivated. The ability to manage preventative maintenance is key, along with basic repairs to damaged facilities, equipment, painting and decorating. Your role will also include gardening and providing a porterage service where required to support our Housekeeping Team.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following skills:

  • Good knowledge and experience of general property maintenance
  • Excellent attention to detail, high standards and a patient, organised nature
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Team working orientated and willingness to support others within the wider team
  • Experience of grounds maintenance and garden machinery
  • Exposure to PAT testing, electrics, plumbing, carpentry is welcomed
  • A good awareness of health & safety and fire safety
  • A full UK driving licence and your own transport is preferred

This role is available on a part time permanent basis. A ‘can do’ hands on attitude is a must as our hotel is open 365 days a year, therefore you will be required to work some weekends.

Night Porter – Casual, Zero Hour Contract caret-down

Casual – Zero Hour Contract – Up to £13.00 per hour plus benefits.

We are looking for a friendly, welcoming and enthusiastic Night Porter to join our hotel team at Wentbridge House (www.wentbridgehouse.co.uk), an award winning 4* hotel located in the village of Wentbridge – Just 10 minutes from Pontefract.

This is a casual (zero-hour) contract position, which will include working some weekends.

This is a key position within the hotel team and you must be trustworthy, presentable, have excellent standards and be able to work individually as well as part of a team. Your main duties include welcoming and helping our guests, assisting with hotel cleaning duties, answering any incoming phone calls to the hotel, organising table linen, setting up meeting and event rooms and making sure the hotel is secure throughout the night.

You must be self-motivated with a can do attitude, a passion for giving great service and able to deal with any guest needs and concerns.

As our Night Porter, you’ll start your working evening at 10.45pm during the week or 11.45pm on a weekend, working through to 7.15am or 8.15am respectively. That means you can take the children to school, pick them up, and have some quality family/you time in the evening before work.

Our rotas are produced 4 weeks in advance, so there’s plenty of time for you to make sure you can plan your life and time around work!
