Casual – Zero Hour Contract – Up to £13.00 per hour plus benefits.
We are looking for a friendly, welcoming and enthusiastic Night Porter to join our hotel team at Wentbridge House (www.wentbridgehouse.co.uk), an award winning 4* hotel located in the village of Wentbridge – Just 10 minutes from Pontefract.
This is a casual (zero-hour) contract position, which will include working some weekends.
This is a key position within the hotel team and you must be trustworthy, presentable, have excellent standards and be able to work individually as well as part of a team. Your main duties include welcoming and helping our guests, assisting with hotel cleaning duties, answering any incoming phone calls to the hotel, organising table linen, setting up meeting and event rooms and making sure the hotel is secure throughout the night.
You must be self-motivated with a can do attitude, a passion for giving great service and able to deal with any guest needs and concerns.
As our Night Porter, you’ll start your working evening at 10.45pm during the week or 11.45pm on a weekend, working through to 7.15am or 8.15am respectively. That means you can take the children to school, pick them up, and have some quality family/you time in the evening before work.
Our rotas are produced 4 weeks in advance, so there’s plenty of time for you to make sure you can plan your life and time around work!
