Milly is from Barnsley, where she has lived all her life – apart from four years at University in Exeter studying Drama and Education, and 13 years in Haworth in West Yorkshire.
She is the author of 20 bestselling novels, selling over three million copies globally, plus a poetry collection and five novellas. In 2020, the Romantic Novelist Association awarded her its Outstanding Achievement Award.
Milly is a writer who champions women and highlights the importance of friendship and community, Milly’s characters are celebrations of the strength of human spirit. She writes from the heart about the people and places she knows with her trademark wit and warmth. The Happiest Ever After, which is out 15th February, is Milly’s 21st novel.
